SEDC Learning & Development Team Achieves IACET Certificate
Posted on: June 14, 2019
CPA’s, PE’s & Others Who Need Continuing Education Credits Can Now Earn Them With SEDC’s Learning & Development Courses
In early June, 2019, the IACET Accredited Provider Commission informed SEDC Learning & Development (L&D) that it has achieved full approval from IACET as an Accredited Provider.
It was the culmination of an effort we began right after last year’s Users Conference. William Service, Director of L&D says, “We are very proud to have met the high benchmark standards for quality program delivery and achieved this certification, since IACET is the premier standards-setting organization for continuing education and training.”
All of L&D’s Medallion Certification Program (MCP) courses taken after June 13, 2019 will be officially IACET-accredited. Moving forward any of the MCP courses taken, whether they are instructor led or E-learning, will be accredited.
All future SEDC learners will benefit from L&D’s having achieved the requirements of this rigorous certification program. It enhances all of the training opportunities L&D offers and SEDC will continually meet IACET’s internationally-recognized standards of excellence in instructional practices.
Alisa Basaraba, SEDC’s Vice President Learning & Development, says, “With this year-long process, the IACET auditor was very impressed with the work that we have done with this program! I want to give a big thanks to William Service and his entire team, including super kudos to Mandy Sargeant as she headed up this effort! All pre-conference workshops and the UPN Fundamentals course at this years User Conference will be fully accredited and our learners can submit them for continuing education credit!”
Who is the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET)?
The IACET is an elite group of educators dedicated to quality in continuing education and training. Consumers trust the IACET CEU because they know that the Accredited Providers’ processes must follow the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training and have been thoroughly assessed by a third party.
