SEDC’s eMobile Field Force Management Suite is mobile automation that is operational in the field today.

It allows for paperless processing of field service activities from the front counter to the field by sending real-time data to the trucks and back. Full CIS/Work Management integration provides utilities with the capability to monitor their entire field service operations wirelessly, and provide your customers with more accurate and timely service. It gives field service personnel real-time data access to orders, customer account information and system status. In short, eMobile Field Force Management creates a seamless, wireless bridge between the trucks and the office.

 
   
Features include:  
   
Real-Time Order Processing, which provides utility the ability to route field work directly to the trucks moments after application is taken
   
Map-Based Dispatching, providing dispatchers with a graphical view of the orders along with field service workers’ status and location.
   
Street-Level Routing, giving dispatchers and field service workers directions from one address to another address.
   
The GPS/AVL feature, which allows integrated GPS functionality within the FSR’s mobile device to automatically send GPS coordinates back to the utility’s server to provide the location of workers in the field to the system.
