UPN’s utility software suite integrates two prime components, its CIS billing and BIS accounting programs, with our Work Management system. Work Management allows for simplified, efficient processing of your utility’s operations and projects in a centralized, easy-to-access location. Fees, requirements, jobs, and service orders – Work Management links and organizes all these different elements, so you can keep projects on track with minimal effort.

CSRs will find Work Management especially helpful, since they can use it to initiate a Work Request instead of a New Connect Service Order or Job – and later, if a Service Order or Job is needed, it can be launched directly from Work Management on either the Billing or Accounting sides of UPN. And because Work Management keeps all of its records on UPN, your CSRs can locate specialized information immediately, instead of routing the call to an Engineer, Staker, or Operations Technician. In addition, Work Management incorporates several services designed to ease the workloads of all your utility employees, including

• Links to Google Maps, for driving directions to job sites, and the Weather Channel, to check weather conditions
• An integrated calendar, for immediate job scheduling
• An automatic notification system, which sends emails when key information has changed
• Export data functions for Excel, CSV, HTML, or XML formats
