RPS works with UPN, our utility billing software, to allow consumers to pay their bills and update their accounts from just about anywhere. RPS terminals can be placed in any location that may benefit your electric/water/gas consumers, and can accept cash, checks, credit cards, or e-checks, based on your utility’s preferences. Plus, payments can be made at any time, including after normal business hours, over weekends, and even late at night.

RPS terminals are rugged, unobtrusive devices that feature an intuitive touchscreen interface and can be customized to match your utility’s branding. These units connect over the internet to UPN’s CIS billing software, so when payments are made, the customer’s accounts are immediately updated. (And every transaction is triple-encrypted for safety and security.) Examples of where you might find these units are the local bank, the neighborhood supermarket, or the corner convenience store. By placing these units in locations far from your utility’s central office, you can keep up with a growing customer base or serve an expanding service area without increasing your office workforce.
